Overview
We use a small amount of browser storage to run quiet-war.com. We do not use third-party advertising or social tracking pixels. See also ourPrivacy Policy.
Essential cookies & storage
- Session cookies (PHP): when you use the contact form or CAPTCHA, our server may set a short-lived session cookie for security (CSRF and CAPTCHA validation). Admin login uses a separate session cookie scoped to
/admin/. - Cookie consent (
tqw-cookie-consent): stored in local storage; remembers that you accepted this notice. - Analytics consent cookie (
tqw_analytics): set when you click OK; tells our server that browsing analytics may be recorded. - Analytics session (
tqw_asid, session storage): created only after you accept — a random session ID so we can group page views in one visit.
First-party analytics (with your consent)
If you click OK on the cookie banner, our site sends first-party usage events to our own server (/api/track.php). We collect:
- Pages viewed and time spent on each page
- Referring URL (where you came from)
- Browser, operating system, and device type (from your browser’s user-agent string)
- Clicks on external links (destination URL and the page you clicked from)
- Session identifier (random, stored in session storage)
- Your IP address — recorded with each event for security and abuse prevention. We do not use it to look up your location, and we never send it to any third party.
This data is stored in our own MySQL database and viewed only in our private admin area. It is not shared with ad networks or any third-party service. Analytics does not run until you accept the banner.
What we do not use
No Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, Google Ads tags, or other third-party marketing trackers on this site.
How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent forms or security features from working correctly. Declining the cookie banner disables analytics but leaves essential cookies in place where required.
